A new scam is taking rounds on the internet related to apple. As apple is a huge company so it becomes the prey of bad people. A fake apple billing information email is circulating these days and stealing people’s money.
The Mac Security blog has said that the latest method of stealing people’s money comes courtesy of fake emails which purport to be from the iPhone maker, claiming that the user’s billing information is out of date. It then asks you to click on the given link and make things right and obviously the link does not lead you to apple’s billing information but rather send your information to the third party who is interested in robbing you online.
The email is seem to be originated from appleid@id.apple.com and looks very real. On clicking the link, they take you to fake Apple Store page and ask your credit card details. Be careful of any such email and always first check the authenticity of page you are visiting.
